They boys were geared up in their Rutgers t-shirts as we went to the Rutgers basketball game. By the time we got to the game it was already the middle of the first half and Rutgers was down. This did not make Adam very happy. He really hates to be on the losing side of anything. There was a point in the game that Rutgers was down by 15 points and it was about then that Adam took off his shirt. He had on a few layers and I asked him...."Oh, sweetie were you hot?" He answered "No, Rutgers is losing and I don't want to wear my shirt."
A little before the second half Rutgers started to make their come back. Zachary started to get into the game and was jumping up and down (in his Zach fashion) with each point. It was fun to see him getting excited. Rutgers played well and got several shots in and was now a head. Adam put his shirt back on and got into the game. It came down to the last three seconds and the last play of the game if USF got it in then they would win, if not then it was Rutgers. USF took the shot and it bounced off the rim and out of the basket. Rutgers Won! Everyone exploded! What a great first basketball game.
